At 7 a.m. on Woodbridge Road in Lodi, Ca it was 32 degrees, Jill and I traveled to the Woodbridge Ecological Reserve to observe the sunrise fly out of Sandhill Cranes as well as discover other flora and fauna on Woodbridge Road. We observed. Sandhill Cranes, Red Tail Hawks, American Kestrels, Snowy Egrets, Great Blue Herons, Belted Kingfishers, Great Egrets, White Fronted Geese, Snow Geese, Grebes, Ring-necked Pheasants, Kildeers, Western Meadowlarks, American Robin and springy coyote.

The Sandhill Cranes settled in for morning grazing several fields away from their overnight resting place.
