Grebe's Pied-Billed Grebe (juv.) & Clark's Grebe

Pied-Billed Grebes are common and widespread in North America, but they are not always easy to find according to Birds of Northern California. Pied-bills are generally secretive and inconspicuous, and they most often hid behind the shady, overgrown, protective cover of their marshland habitats.
This Pied Billed Grebe was an actively feeding on very large fish.
